How do I prepare for my Centtrip Global switchover?
Once your Centtrip Global account has been opened, you will have a 6-week transition period (or as agreed with your Relationship Manager) leading up to your official switchover date, during which you can continue using your existing account as normal while preparing your new account.
You can switch over whenever you are ready, but no later than your switchover date.
Get Ready To Switch - 5 Key Steps
Step 1 - Add Users & Prepare Your Team
-
Your Corporate Super Administrator (CSA) will be added to your Global account once created, and will receive a confirmation email with your official switchover date.
-
The CSA then needs to add any other users who will require access to Centtrip Global.
-
Be sure to brief your team on the upgrade so everyone is ready for your switchover.
Step 2: Order New Centtrip Global Cards
-
Order any cards that will be required on your Centtrip Global account.
-
Then either load funds to your Global account and top up cards immediately, OR, wait until Centtrip transfer the funds from your existing account (see Step 4).
Step 3: Close Your Existing Cards
-
Before your account funds are transferred (Step 4) - close all cards on your existing Centtrip account, so card balances are returned to your account.
-
Our treasury team can only transfer account funds to Centtrip Global, so this is essential.
Step 4: Confirm When Funds Should Be Transferred
-
Let us or your Relationship Manager know when you would like your account funds to be moved from your existing Centtrip account to your new Global account.
-
If no timing is confirmed, funds will be automatically moved across 48 hours before your official switchover date.
Step 5: Official Switchover and Account Closure
-
From your official switchover date, your existing Centtrip account will be closed and you and your team will now use Centtrip Global exclusively.
-
Your old account will remain accessible in read-only mode for three months to allow you to export any reports or data you may need.
-
You will receive an email once the old account has been fully closed.
